Logging In & Selecting Location for Heartland Restaurant

Location Selector

• ●  On your first login to Heartland Restaurant it will prompt you to log in.
• ●  Input your Heartland Restaurant ​Email​ and ​Password​.
• ●  The next screen will ask how your device will be used. Select ​Point of Sale​.
• ●  A second selection will appear below that. Select ​Permanent​.

• You will then be brought to a scrollable list of your locations. Select the appropriate ​Location​. If you are havingtrouble finding a location, you can use the​ Search​ box to narrow down the list.

• ●  Select ​Next​.
• App Permissions

• ●  On your first Log in you may receive prompts at various steps to allow the Heartland Restaurant Application to do various things on your iPad.
• ●  To fully enable all functionality it is recommended to select ​Allow​ on every prompt.
  • ○  Notifications: ​Allow so the Heartland Restaurant application can send notifications in the form of alerts,sounds, and icon badges. This prompt will appear when Heartland Restaurant is initially opened.
  • ○  Camera: ​Allow so Heartland Restaurant can take pictures of employees when they clock in and out fromthe system. This prompt will appear the first time you enter the ​Clock In​ screen.
  • ○  Microphone: ​Allow so Heartland Restaurant can accept card swipes on MSR readers attached via theheadphone jack. This will appear when you insert an MSR into the headphone jack.
  • ○  These can be enabled and customized later if necessary under ​Settings​ > ​Heartland Restaurant.
