How do you configure Multiple Taxes to apply to items?

● This can be achieved by using ​Tags​. To do so, you would take the following steps:

• ○  Ensure you have created the desired ​taxes​ under M​ enu ​→ ​Taxes​.
• ○  Create ​Tags ​under ​Menu ​→ ​Tags ​and assign desired items to them.

■ For example, I can name the ​Tag​ ‘Alcohol Items’ and assign all alcoholic items.

• ○  Under ​Location Setup ​→ S​ ettings ​→ ​App Settings ​check the ​Room Level Taxes ​option.
• ○  Assign ​Taxes ​to the ​Rooms ​under ​Location Setup ​→ ​Rooms​.
  • When you select the ​Taxes ​you can Add specific ​Tags ​for it to Apply to.
  • For example, I would want to assign my Alcohol Items ​Tag ​under ​Sales Tax​ and under ​Alcohol Tax​ in this window.
